Rodrigo Arancibia is a native of San Diego and triple alumnus from San Diego State University where he earned his BS in Kinesiology, Single Subject Teaching Credential and MS in Educational Leadership with an administrative credential. He has spent the last decade working in education as an after-school program leader, teacher, and district coordinator.
In his previous role at Sweetwater Union High School District, California’s second-largest secondary school district, Rodrigo helped manage and oversee all the ASES and ASSETs grants and worked to improve school climate and culture within the District through student leadership.
In his current role at the High Tech High Graduate School of Education, Rodrigo Co-Directs the CARPE College Access Network whose mission is the help high schools in southern California support traditionally marginalized students get into, and through, college. Rodrigo believes in the power of relationships as a keystone to successful schools and school districts, it’s through these relationships that communities, as a whole, can thrive.
